Fridge water dispenser was not working.
Member Comments: I needed my fridge repaired - the in door water dispenser wasn't working. While the repairman was not able to repair it during the service call, he diagnosed the problem (water line frozen) and recommended the solution (turn off the freezer until the water line thawed). Worked like a charm and I avoided having to replace the entire freezer door. Very personable and helpful repairman, and I appreciated the fact that he offered advice on a simple solution rather than selling me a large, expensive repair part.

That same day he came to evaluate the problem. Within minutes he knew the problem. He located a replacement part and returned the following day and within minutes had the part installed and the frig running. I liked his approach. He was very cordial and proficient. I'd have him return in an instant if I have a future problem.

We just had a dishwasher that my wife was convinced wasn't working properly. I, of course, didn't know the difference, but it turns out she was right (what else is new). Reid found that the heating element was not working and that the water flow was too low. He did a same day (Friday) repair on the heater, including an evening call to explain what else needed to be done and how to use the washer meantime, and then his dad finished things up the following Monday. We have been using Raker Appliance for the past twenty-plus years, and have always been satisfied. It is great to see Reid carrying on in the tradition of his father, and to have such a competent company so convenient to us. Thank you Raker!

Great same day service. Found the problem right away and replaced the part. After making sure the dryer worked he discovered what caused the problem originally. He didn't have that part on the truck but offered to come back to fix. It didn't seem to complicated and having a handy husband we decided to tackle the rest ourselves to save some money. Reid suggested where to get the part and explained what needed to be done, offering his assistance if needed. When is the last time you had a service man tell you how to fix a problem so you could save money, probably never. Well, we have been using Raker Appliance for over 30 years in my family and that's the way they do business. They give you what you need to solve your problem even if it means giving up a job to do the best thing for the customer. That's what has kept us coming back, you know you can trust them. I'd say they care about their customers and that's why we will continue to use Raker Appliance. Thanks Reid.
